At dads.kids.miracles they believe that every family has a story worth telling. Tobias & Dennis – two fathers, two proud dads, grateful for their family. Sharing their journey isn’t just about us: it’s about visibility, possibility, and the fact that parenthood can look different yet feel the same in its love and purpose.

Their Mission

They want to make two-father families visible and normal in society. They want to show that everyone with the desire for children deserves the chance to build a family, regardless of sexual orientation. At the same time, they want to inform and educate about surrogacy and egg donation, because choosing those paths shouldn’t be taboo or shrouded in secrecy.

Why they share

Their story, of being a couple for 15 years, of choosing surrogacy in the US to have biological children, of welcoming our daughter Summer in 2019 and our son Jaden in 2021, is deeply personal. 

But by sharing they hope to break the silence around how LGBT+ individuals build families, and to show other men, other couples, other parents: you are not alone.

What they do

• Articles & media appearances: They speak out in print and television, as they strive for greater visibility of two-father families and routes to parenthood via surrogacy and egg donation. 

• Events & workshops: they offer talks, workshops and discussion circles, both for men’s couples on the path to parenthood and for society at large, to foster understanding. 

• Resources & dialogue: On their website you’ll find FAQs, personal reflections, and open sharing of how they navigated their journey. For example:

  • How did they become fathers? → We opted for surrogacy in the USA after thorough research. 

  • How old are their children? → Summer (born 2019) and Jaden (born 2021). 

  • Do they stay in contact with their egg donor and gestational carriers? → Yes. They are friends of the family; open communication is very important to us. 
     

Why now

Visibility matters. When families that differ from the “norm” remain unseen or unspoken, assumptions take hold, and opportunities remain hidden. With their voices they want to help build a society where:

• Two-father families are ordinary.

• Surrogacy and egg donation are spoken about with clarity and compassion.

• Every person with the desire to parent is linked to trust, information and community support.
